Making a Difference

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Aging Care Connections. Only with a dedicated group of volunteers can we offer a range of programs and services every month to the more than 8000 individuals and families we serve each year. Volunteering is a source of great satisfaction for those who participate. Following are some of the major volunteer groups with brief descriptions. If you would like to volunteer, or if you would like more information on these opportunities, please stop by Aging Care Connections, or call us at 708-354-1323.

Make a Donation

We invite you to support Aging Care Connections' services and programs by making a donation. Because of recent cuts in funding on all levels, the raising of funds is critical. Our organization must raise 50% of our budget in order to continue to offer excellent programs to assist older adults. Please access our donation form. Thank you.

Planned Giving

Aging Care Connections would like to invite you to consider a planned charitable gift as a lasting legacy to benefit seniors in our community. Our mission "to enrich the quality of life of older adults and their families through a range of programs and services to enhance their well-being and independence" touches the lives of 8,000 people each year. We deeply appreciate the foresight of those who designate a bequest to Aging Care Connections in their wills, or families who request donations to benefit Aging Care Connections be made at the time of memorial services.

There are many vehicles for achieving goals to benefit Aging Care Connections which may be helpfull to the donor as well. With the consultation of professional advisors including attorneys, certified public accountnants or trust officers, donors are able to accomplish
the following:
• Establish an endowed trust;
• Produce a stream of income through a life income gift program;
• Reduce federal estate taxes;
• Obtain a charitable tax deduction;
• Avoid or reduce capital gains taxes on transfers of appreciated property.

The gift may be funded through a variety of assets including cash, securities (such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or closely held securities), real estate (such as a personal residence, commercial property, or vacant land), and tangible personal property (such as art, antiques, jewelry, or collectibles). In addition, the gift may be made in the form of a current gift, a planned gift, or a gift through your estate.

Please contact the Development Office at 708-354-1323, extension 26 for more information on planned giving.

Our sincere thanks for considering a plannned gift to benefit Aging Care Connections.
